Books I Want to Borrow/Steal From You

I failed to take advantage of the cut price sale of National Bookstore this year. Their sale period was started earlier than last year (last year's sale period was from August to September while it was July to August this year) that when I checked out their main store in Cubao, the sale period was over. Anyway below is a list of books I want to get a hold of in the near future.

  • To the Lighthouse -  Virginia Woolf
  • The Great Gatsby - F. Scott Fitzgerald (20100918)
  • Brave New World - Aldous Huxley
  • A Clockwork Orange - Anthony Burgess (20101003)
  • The Sun also Rises - Ernest Hemingway
  • Heart of Darkness - Joseph Conrad (20100918)
  • Night - Elie Wiesel
  • Portnoy's Complaint - Philip Roth
  • The Maltese Falcon  - Dashiell Hammett
  • Run Rabbit Run - John Updike (added 20101003 )

Yeah, a Kindle is a nice "steal" too but it's really expensive here.
